✔A Campaign is a series of actions positioned around a central theme intended to drive behavior change. Users learn, do, and reflect on this theme and earn points for actions completed. They share their progress in a way that encourages others to participate as well. Read below for a summary of the Campaign Library and tips on how to create your own campaigns. Note: Please visit the User Roles & Permissions page to see how the levels of Management Panel access change your ability to publish content.

Campaign Library

The WeSpire Campaign Library contains campaign templates built on micro-learning opportunities, called actions, to engage employees around a particular topic. These templates contain pre-drafted descriptive text, actions, and photos, but each of these elements are completely customizable.

The Search bar in the Campaign Library can be used to find campaigns related to keywords that are typed in. The template campaigns are created using best practices in behavioral science in order to influence behavior change among your employee population.

Campaign templates are organized into 5 Modules: Sustainability, Wellbeing, Positive Workplace Culture, Social Impact, and Platform. Depending on which modules you purchased, those templates will be available in your search (Platform templates will always be available, regardless of the module(s) you have purchased).

How to Build a Campaign

When you click on Edit Campaign, you will be sent to the Campaign Builder where you can edit every piece of the Campaign.

The campaign builder brings you through these steps:

  1. Details:

Where you can edit the campaign's title, description, channel visibility, team visibility, start date & end date, time zone.

You can also turn campaigns into a Competitions with the click of a button.

2. Images:

Where you can edit the banner image and achievement badge.

For tips and best practices for finding images refer to Selecting Images for the WeSpire Platform.

3. Actions:

Here's where you can add, delete, and edit the actions that exist in the campaign.

First you'll see the actions in our library. Feel free to type in some keywords and suggested actions will appear.

Secondly you'll see the button where you can create new actions.

Third you'll see a list of actions currently in the campaign. You'll be able to edit, delete actions from there. You'll also be able to rearrange the order they fall within the campaign.

4. Achievement

Users are awarded an achievement badge and points once they complete the points threshold for the campaign. Step 4 is where you can edit the Achievement name, description, points threshold, and points awarded. It also tells you how many Actions are currently included in the Campaign and the point total one would earn for completing each Action once. Note that, a User could earn more than 155 points by checking off some Actions more than once.

Unless it's absolutely necessary to your Campaign or Competition design, WeSpire's recommendation is to make the points threshold ~60% of total points. We want to reward Users for participating given that they might not be interested or even able to complete all of the Actions.

Required Actions must be completed in order to earn an Achievement. If you set any Actions as Required, in order to earn the Achievement for the Campaign, a User must:

  1. Reach the set number of Points Required to Earn an Achievement
  2. Complete all of the Required Actions

Points Required to Earn Achievement

You can set the Points Required to Earn an Achievement lower than the total points available if you don't want to require Users to check off all the Actions in order to earn the Achievement Badge.

Typically, the number of Points Required to Earn an Achievement is usually equivalent to completing ~60-70% of the Actions in the Campaign.

But, you have the ability to decide if you want the threshold to be lower so that a User only has to do one or two Actions to complete the Campaign.

Or to be higher so that the User has to complete some Actions in the Campaign multiple times in order to earn the related Achievement Badge.

Points Awarded

The Points Awarded is referring to the number of additional points that a User will earn once they reach the threshold set in the Points Required to Earn an Achievement. This number is usually 10. But, if you made the Campaign more difficult by setting the threshold to earn the badge higher, you might want to similarly increase the reward.
