Sometimes you need to access WeSpire without going through Single Sign On (for example, if you are a contractor and do not have SSO credentials). Customer Success can set you up with a unique token to get access. In addition, you will need the ability to edit cookies stored on your browser. We recommend Google Chrome and the Cookie Editor extension for this purpose.
Using Google Chrome, Download & install Cookie Editor.
Ask your WeSpire Customer Success Manager for the "remember token" you need to access your desired WeSpire platform instance.
<aside> 👉 Note: Your token will be good until the session expires. Session duration varies per site but is typically 90 days from the last activity on the account. Logging out immediately expires the session, so if you want the session to remain just close the tab when you're done for the day. If your token stops working it is likely because your session expired. You can ask Customer Success for another one.

Once the extension is installed & you have your token ready, take the following steps:
Open the Cookie Editor
You may have to open the Extensions menu in your Chrome Menu bar to see the editor. If you click the pin, the Editor will stay in your menu bar.
Add a new cookie with these values:
Domain: yourcompany.wespire.com
Path: /
Name: remember_token
Value: Paste the remember token, making sure to delete trailing and leading spaces
Click the "Set / Create New" button. Do not fill in any of the other fields.
Open a new tab and navigate to yourcompany.wespire.com.
You should arrive at the Take Action page, logged in:
If you follow the steps above and you are still not logged into your intended WeSpire site, there may be a conflicting "remember_token" in the list already.
To fix this, search for the site you're trying to log into and delete all the existing cookies, then re-set the remember token you have and re-load the site:
