If you've made a donation outside your company’s giving platform and you'd like to request a company match, you can follow these simple steps to submit a Retroactive Match request.
Note: This functionality was updated in March 2024, so the form may look different from the last time you submitted a request. However, the process of having your request reviewed will work roughly the same as it has in the past.
To start, navigate to your Donation History page. The Donation History page can be found by clicking on your name in the top right corner of the screen and selecting “Donation History” from the dropdown menu.
In the “Your Impact” box at the top of the page, you'll find a button to submit a "Retroactive Match Request". Click on it to proceed.
When you click the link, it takes you straight to our charity search page. Here, you can find and select the charity you've donated to. Use the charity ID (EIN) for best results or search by charity name.
The search will only return charities that are eligible for matching based on your company rules.
Once you've found your charity, click on the “Submit Match Request” button.
Next, you'll need to fill out some information about your donation:

Finally, keep an eye on your inbox and Donation History. You'll receive 2 emails:
Please be patient. It can take up to a few weeks for your company admins to review match requests.
Your match request status will be visible on your Donation History page and will updated from “Pending” to “Approved” or “Denied” when the review is completed.
