Want to use your Android smartphones to track and enter your activity? Once connected, your data will automatically upload to your account.
Before connecting Google Fit to WeSpire, you must have the Google Fit app downloaded on your phone and have an active Google Fit account. If it's not already preinstalled on your phone, the Google Fit app can be downloaded for free here. Please create an account in Google Fit first before following these steps.
To turn on Google Fit, follow these steps:
Confirm that your Android device supports step tracking.
On the device connection screen select Connect Now, you'll be redirected to where you’ll need to enable data sharing permissions between WeSpire and Google Fit.
Enter the login account information for the device/app and when prompted, select Turn All Categories On to allow authorization for WeSpire to access the device data and keep track of qualifying activities.
Once connected, there will be a banner displayed across the top of the page confirming a successful authorization.
Please note that the Campaign must feature an Accumulation Action in order for a device to sync data.
Once you have successfully connected Google Fit to your WeSpire User Account, you will be able to view the most recent sync time and date on the activity tracking section of an active accumulation action. If you have recently tracked Google Fit activity, this data will appear in your WeSpire User Account within an active tracking action.
