The Giving Activity enables users to browse a list of curated charities and make donations directly to the charity. If there is an organizational matching gift policy in place, users can see their matching balance and request their gifts be matched.
When they click Donate, users are able to enter their desired donation and request a match (if enabled). Payment options will vary with your implementation but include direct with credit card, Google Pay, and Apple Pay (if the user has those configured on their device).
In the Management Panel, click on “Giving” under the Activities tab on the left. Click the button that reads “New Giving Activity” in the top right.
As you fill out the form, refer to the field descriptions below:
Provide participants with the basic information about this Giving Activity.

Specify which Charities should be available in this Giving Activity.
This option will result in your Giving Activity including a search box that allows users to search through the entired list of available charities set for your instance of WeSpire.

This option will allow you to create a Giving Activity with a fixed list of charities available for donation.

To use this option, follow the instructions below
Select the option to make “only specific charities” available in the Giving Activity
A search box will appear
Use the search tools to find a charity to add (if you search by EIN, use only numbers, no dash)
Click the blue text to the right of the listed charity to “Enable” that charity for the Giving Activity
Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have completed your list.
Note: Charity order on the User-facing page will default to alphabetical order.
Specify which participants should have access to this Giving Activity.
