WeSpire can allow you to use a brand-specified email address for all platform emails. Rather than WeSpire transactional and broadcast emails being sent from @wespire.com, we can change the domain so it fits with your company brand (@yourdomain.com). For many clients this is optional, but for a few, it's necessary to ensure email deliverability.
Many email systems add an "External" marker to emails sent from outside the company. However, the WeSpire platform is fully under the control of your employees. All programs and content hosted on the platform are created and/or vetted by members of your team and all broadcast emails from the platform are written by your employees leaders of these programs, it's actually inaccurate that messages from the platform are seen as "External."
Implementing Custom Email Domains helps elevate this as a fully white-labeled internally run platform. This features is a way to solidify that connection and build up employee confidence that the programs and communication coming through the platform are truly internal programs.
Note for Giving Customers: Donation Receipts triggered by users making donations on the platform will always come from [email protected]. Implementing a custom email domain will not affect the sender on these donation receipts.
<aside> 💡 Clients must have IT support to add custom records to their DNS to accept @yourdomain.com emails as authentic. We will not be able to implement custom email domains for brands without the support of corporate IT to add custom DNS records provided by Sendgrid, our email delivery platform.
