Follow the instructions below to connect Apple Health to your WeSpire User Account. To connect Apple Health to the WeSpire app, you must first download the WeSpire app for iPhone and then follow the steps below.

  1. If you haven't done so already, you MUST have an active Apple Health account. If you have an Apple Watch, make sure it's syncing to your iPhone. Read more on Apple Watch connections here: [Apple Support](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204351#:~:text=try these steps%3A-,Open the Health app.,Fitness Tracking is turned on.).

  2. On the device connection screen select Connect Now, you'll be redirected to where you’ll need to enable data sharing permissions between WeSpire and the Apple Health App.

  3. When prompted, select Turn All Categories On to allow the WeSpire app to access health data and keep track of activity.

  4. Select Allow.

  5. Once connected, there will be a banner displayed across the top of the page confirming a successful authorization.

    Please note that the Campaign must feature an Accumulation Action in order for a device to sync data.

    Once you have successfully connected Apple Health to your WeSpire User Account, you will be able to view the most recent sync time and date on the activity tracking section of an active accumulation action. If you have recently tracked Apple Health activity, this data will appear in your WeSpire User Account within an active tracking action.

    To allow WeSpire to auto-sync Apple Health data, the WeSpire mobile app must be open with Background App Refresh enabled. Sync attempts will not be successful if these conditions are not met. To confirm Background App Refresh is enabled, please go into your iPhone settings and turn on Background App Refresh for WeSpire.

    If you do not keep the WeSpire app open so that the data can auto-sync you will need to manually refresh the data between the WeSpire app and Apple Health by going to an active accumulation action and pulling down to refresh.

    <aside> ❗ Note: Apple only allows us to sync data from the past 48 hours. Check daily to ensure all progress is properly logged within the WeSpire app.
